These two photos illustrate how dramatically Newcastle’s Quayside has changed in recent decades

The people of Newcastle were either freakishly tall a couple of centuries ago, or this entrance served some other purpose

The 3 Bulls Heads stood on the corner of Sandgate and the Milk Market; the pub and everything else in the photo are long gone
